We’re back from our Christmas break and are offering a small and select bake this week to coincide with New Year’s Eve. So if you’d like one of the last of this year’s boxes of Bob’s then order fast!

Here’s our very special limited edition menu…

 

BOB

Bob’s Original Brownie. Our plain, unadulterated, chocolatey, fudgy, gorgeously simple brownie. Topped with dredged icing sugar.

 

Malty teaser

Piles of chopped and crushed maltesers and a heap of horlicks (for extra malty goodness) packed into a BOB. Topped with melted white chocolate and a malteser. Chewy, fudgy, rich and crunchy…

 

Marshmallow and white choc chunk

Marshmallows and chunks of white chocolate packed into a classic BOB. Topped with marshmallow pieces and a white chocolate drizzle. Chewy, nubbly, gooeyness.

 

Mint choc

A dense and dark chocolate brownie with a layer of peppermint cream, topped with smooth, rich, dark chocolate. A fudgy brownie take on an after eight!

 

Toblerone and toasted almond

Stuffed with chopped toblerone and freshly toasted flaked almonds. Topped with melted toblerone and more toasted almonds. Nubbly, almondy, rich and fudgy.

 

Cranberry, pistachio and white choc chunk blondie

Our creamy white chocolate blondie, with piles of sharp cranberries, green nubbly pistachios and chunks of smooth, sweet white chocolate. Topped with a cream cheese frosting then sprinkled with cranberries and pistachios.

 

And that’s it… small and perfectly formed!

 

This week, if your Bob’s are for New Year’s celebrations you’re more than welcome to collect on Wednesday (New Year’s Eve).

All our brownies will last around a week to ten days if kept refrigerated and months if frozen (they even taste gorgeous straight from the freezer!)

Large boxes (16 brownies) are £11. Small boxes (8 brownies) are £6. You can mix any available varieties in a box. All brownies will be ready to collect from 4pm Thursday from our North Swindon address. Otherwise we can mail large boxes for £4 P&P (1st class post) to UK mainland addresses (we can add a message to your box if you like!) Either email us or message us on Facebook to order. Here’s our last menu before Christmas!

As befitting of the Christmas occasion, we’re pulling all the stops out and have gone for a massive feast of a menu. We will bake extra batches this week, but we’re only a small team and our devotion to producing perfect brownies outweighs a desire to produce huge quantities. That said, we may well reach a point where we have to say ‘no more’ (for sanity as well as sleep’s sake)! So be warned, and order early. Speaking of which, it may take us a little longer than usual to confirm your order; hang on in there – we will get back to you as soon as possible!

BOB

Bob’s Original Brownie. Our plain, unadulterated, chocolatey, fudgy, gorgeously simple brownie. Topped with real snow (dredged icing sugar!)

 

Dairy free BOB

A dairy free version of our BOB. Just as fudgy and gooey!

 

Banoffee

Mashed and chopped ripe bananas and toffee pieces packed into a BOB, then baked to gooey aromatic perfection. Topped with chunky shards of chopped toffee and a dark chocolate drizzle. Banana, toffee, choc fest.

 

Daim bar

Chopped up daim bars and toasted almonds packed into our classic BOB. Topped with more chopped up daim bars. Scarily addictive!

 

Chocolate orange

Freshly squeezed orange juice and zest infused BOB, with a layer of zesty orange buttercream, then topped with smooth, rich dark chocolate and a sprinkling of fresh orange zest.

 

Christmas pud

A jam packed BOB, brimming with our festive, brandied, juicy mincemeat with currants, sultanas, cherries, cranberries and orange zest. And topped with real snow (dredged icing sugar!) Christmas in a brownie.

 

Espresso

Dark, dense, fudgy and rich espresso laden BOB with a cocoa dusting. Picks you up!

 

Gingerbread

Our gingerbreaded up BOB, made with dark muscovado sugar, black treacle, golden syrup, cinnamon and freshly grated ginger. Topped with a lemon icing drizzle and shards of crystallised ginger. Gooey, rich, warm and wintery!

 

Irish cream swirl

An Irish cream infused Bob with swirls and whirls of our Irish cream cheesecake running through and over.

Heaps of chopped and crushed maltesers and a veritable pile of horlicks (for extra malty goodness) packed into a BOB. Topped with a malteser. Chewy, fudgy, crunchy…..!

Dairy free Marshmallow and dark choc chunk

Just like our regular one but dairy free, and studded with our dairy free dark chocolate. Topped with mini marshmallows and a dark chocolate drizzle.

 

Gluten free Marshmallow and white choc chunk

Another variation, this time gluten free. Just as gooey and gorgeous.

Salted caramel

Sea salted caramel running through and over a BOB. Topped with an extra sprinkle of sea salt flakes. Chewy, gooey, sweet and salty goodness.

 

Toblerone and toasted almond

Gluten free Toblerone and toasted almond

The same as our regular version above, but gluten free. Just as gooey though.

Menu 7th December

This is the penultimate week for ordering your Christmas brownies. We were originally planning on baking right up until Christmas but for the sake of sanity (and our family) we have decided to give ourselves a little breathing space. The good news is we’ll be baking loads this week and next. It’s also great to know that all our brownies freeze and defrost beautifully, so you can buy now and stash away in the freezer until required. And if you’re feeling benevolent and giving, our brownies make a fantastic gift. But… We are only a small, small team and there’s only so many baking hours before Christmas so please don’t leave it until the last minute to order as once we’re out, we are most definitely out!

This week we’ve upped our quota to 11 varieties as well as 2 gluten free…

 

BOB

Here goes for our first Christmas menu of the year!

As we only have a small team here at Bob’s we’d highly recommend placing your Christmas orders sooner rather than later. Therefore, throughout December we’ll be including most of our festive brownies in the menu each week. This means that you can order as early as you’d like and then stash your boxes away in the freezer (they freeze and defrost beautifully), ready to eat whenever you decide to re-box and give away, or keep for yourselves!

This week we’ve decided to up our bake a little so there are 9 varieties to choose from…

BOB

Bob’s Original Brownie. Our plain, unadulterated, chocolatey, fudgy, gorgeously simple brownie. Topped with real snow (dredged icing sugar!)

Black forest

A darker, richer, cherry brandy infused BOB loaded with morello cherries and dark chocolate chips. Topped with dark chocolate flakes. Aromatic, juicy, darkness.

Chocolate orange

Last week’s newbie daim bar and toasted almond went down so well that we’ve decided to include it in this week’s menu too. We’ve also added a couple of limited varieties (in that they only appear on the menu sporadically) – so if you like the sound of them, it’s best to order fast!

Peanut butter

Our creamy, salty, sweet and crunchy peanut butter mix, swirled through and over a BOB. Nutty, choccy heaven.

 

Vanilla cheesecake swirl

Our vanilla cheesecake mix swirled through and over a BOB for a dreamy, creamy, tangy contrast to rich chocolatey brownie fudginess.

 

Roasted roobarb and custard blondie

Our creamy, dense, white chocolate blondie, heavily laden with oven roasted rhubarb (for an intense flavour) and custard (because you just have to have custard with roobarb!) Topped with a rhubarb and custard drizzle. Sharp, intense, sweet and creamy.

Menu 2nd November

Yesterday we did the Monster race. Here’s a picture of our very welcome post race refuelling brownies! A few more pics from the day can be found on our instagram page.

This week we’ve gone with the bonfire night theme – toasted marshmallows, pecans with caramel, toffee apples, popping candy… But also managed to preserve a little normality with some of our more popular varieties.

BOB

Toasted marshmallow and white choc chunk

Marshmallow pieces and chunks of white chocolate packed into a classic BOB, topped with more marshmallows then baked until gooey on the inside and toasty on top. One for the camp fire!

Pecan and salted caramel

Sea salted caramel and chopped pecans packed in a BOB. Topped with more pecans, salted caramel and a dark chocolate drizzle. Chewy, gooey, nubbly, sweet and salty goodness.

Popping BOB

Our BOB, smothered with a fudgy chocolatey topping then sprinkled with chocolate covered popping candy. We’re very much looking forward to blind testing on this one!

Mint choc

A dense and dark chocolate brownie topped with a layer of peppermint cream, then finished with a coating of smooth, rich, dark chocolate. A fudgy brownie take on an after eight!

Toblerone and toasted almond

Stuffed with chopped toblerone and freshly toasted flaked almonds. Topped with melted toblerone and more toasted almonds.

Vanilla cheesecake swirl

Our vanilla cheesecake mix swirled through and over a BOB. Dreamy, creamy, tangy cheesecake and rich chocolatey brownie fudginess.

Toffee apple blondie

Sliced apples, coated in freshly made toffee then topped with our fudgy, creamy, lightly cinnamoned white chocolate blondie and baked to aromatic perfection. Sprinkled with a light cinnamon sugar dusting. Great for brownie bobbing :)
