Excuse late menu – We’ve literally just come back from an epic 26 mile sponsored trek/hobble from Avebury to Stonehenge. We forgot plasters but as you can see we remembered the important provisions! We’re just going for 6 varieties this week but will be sure to bake lots to go around. So without further delay…

BOB

Bob’s Original Brownie. Our plain, unadulterated, chocolatey, fudgy, gorgeously simple brownie. Topped with dredged icing sugar.

Cherry choc chunk

Our BOB, packed with chopped glace cherries and chunks of dark, rich chocolate. Topped with half a glace cherry and a dark chocolate drizzle. Chewy, juicy, chocolatey richness.

Daim bar

Chopped up daim bars and toasted almonds packed into our classic BOB. Topped with more chopped up daim bars. Scarily addictive!

Marshmallow and white choc chunk

Our very popular and much loved classic. Marshmallows and chunks of white chocolate packed into a classic BOB. Topped with marshmallow pieces and a white chocolate drizzle. Chewy, nubbly, gooeyness.

Salted caramel

Sea salted caramel running through and over a BOB. Topped with an extra sprinkle of sea salt flakes. Chewy, gooey, sweet and salty goodness.

Our creamy white chocolate blondie crammed with chopped banana, toffee pieces, pecan nuts and dark, milk and white chocolate chunks. We thought this one up today during our trek!

This week our Daim bar brownie contains nuts (almonds) and our Chunky monkey blondie contains pecan nuts . This week we have a few brownies on the menu that haven’t been around for a while. Which means that they’ll either sit here unordered as you’ve all forgotten about them or they’ll be speedily ordered in case they’re not featured again for a while longer!

BOB

Bob’s Original Brownie. Our plain, unadulterated, chocolatey, fudgy, gorgeously simple brownie. Topped with dredged icing sugar.

Espresso

Dark, dense, fudgy and rich espresso laden BOB with a cocoa dusting… Picks you up!

Mint choc

A dense and dark chocolate brownie with a layer of peppermint cream, topped with smooth, rich, dark chocolate. A fudgy brownie take on an after dinner mint.

Raspberry and white chocolate

A BOB with sharp, juicy raspberries and chunks of creamily sweet white chocolate running through and over. Heavenly fudgy, rich, juicy, sharp, creamy chocolatyness!

Salted caramel and pecan

Sea salted caramel running through and over a pecan nut studded BOB. Topped with more pecans and an extra sprinkle of sea salt flakes. Chewy, gooey, nutty, sweet and salty goodness.

Toasted marshmallow and white chocolate krispie

Chunks of white chocolate running through a BOB, topped with a layer of marshmallows and baked to toasty perfection. Covered with our chocolate krispie then drizzled with white chocolate.

Vanilla cheesecake swirl

Our vanilla cheesecake mix swirled through and over a BOB for a dreamy, creamy, tangy contrast to rich chocolatey brownie fudginess.

Cherry bakewell blondie

Our white chocolate blondie, packed full with ground almonds and morello cherries, topped with flaked almonds, then baked to aromatically juicy, cherry almond perfection.

 

Next Sunday we’re doing the Sarsen Trail – a 26 mile trek from Avebury to Stonehenge to help raise funds for children needing cleft repair surgery through Love Without Boundaries, a charity that works in China to provide surgery, care and hope to orphaned children. We’ll be donating a percentage of this week’s takings to the cause and there will also be a collection box available for anyone that would like to make a donation when collecting brownies later in the week. To celebrate getting through Monster race yesterday we have an extra special gorgeous menu for you this week. Well we try to have a gorgeous menu for you every week! Also our latest purchase of ‘large’ boxes turned out to be not so large, so until they run out we’re now offering a medium size box (12 brownies) for £9 as well as our normal small boxes (8 brownies) for £6 and large boxes (16 brownies) for £11. Here’s a pic of my lovely friend Suzy, looking nice and squeaky clean before the start with the absolute best post race fuel… Ever. We didn’t look as squeaky clean after the race as we devoured them all! Here’s our menu…

BOB

Chocolate orange

Freshly squeezed orange juice and zest infused BOB, with a layer of zesty orange buttercream. Topped with smooth, rich dark chocolate and a sprinkling of fresh orange zest.

Marshmallow and white choc chunk

Our very popular and much loved classic. Marshmallows and chunks of white chocolate packed into a classic BOB. Topped with marshmallow pieces and a white chocolate drizzle. Chewy, nubbly, gooeyness.

Peanut butter

Our creamy white chocolate blondie, studded with piles of sharp cranberries and chunks of smooth, sweet white chocolate. Topped with a cream cheese frosting then sprinkled with more cranberries and white chocolate shavings. If you’d like we’ll sprinkle extra chopped pistachios on top too – just let us know when you order.

After a completely bonkers Easter bake I’ve decided to take a week off from the kitchen to play, go places and give the oven a rest. I’ll be back with you next Sunday evening with a new menu.

Welcome to our Easter menu!

We’re anticipating a busy week’s bake. We’re also anticiapting baking loooooads of crème egg brownies. But don’t let that make you flippant – there’s only so many that we can bake before we cave in and wave the white flag of surrender; We will sell out, so be sure to place your orders fast! This week we’re introducing 3 newbies to the menu. We’re also bringing back our extremely popular Toasted marshmallow and white choc chunk for a quick outing before next week’s Easter bonanza – they will not be on next week’s menu so buy this week and freeze (the brownies, not yourselves) if you’d like them for Easter.

It’s St Patrick’s Day this week so we thought we’d sprinkle a little luck of the Irish into our menu by adding our limited edition Irish Cream swirl. We’re also bringing back our Mint choc after it just missed out on last week’s vote to Chocolate orange. One of our all time favourite’s, Cherry bakewell blondie, is on the menu too (we need a will of steel if there are to be any left to sell). After a very busy Mother’s Day week’s bake last week we’re expecting things to be a little gentler this week. Maybe…

Menu 8th March

Many thanks to those that voted for ‘what mums really want’ varieties for this week… Chocolate orange beat Mint choc by two votes and Vanilla cheesecake beat Irish cream swirl by one vote (bit close then!) We are expecting to be very, very busy (you guys are so nice to your mums), so we’re going for a massive, massive bake this week. However, we’re only a small team and quality will always take precedent over quantity, so please, please order quickly to avoid disappointment. Oh and thank you Cody for this most splendid picture of you delivering your mum’s brownies (we love it!)
