Welcome to our final Christmas menu!

This is our last bake before Christmas. We have 10 varieties again this week including a very exciting newbie blondie. We also have gluten free and vegan varieties. It will definitely be worth ordering fast this week… We will answer all messages in the order that they are sent within the next few hours. Please take a little time to read all the details on how to order, box sizes etc so you can place your order nice and fast to make sure you secure yourself a box or two of Bob’s for Christmas! BOB

Bob’s Original Brownie. Our plain, unadulterated, chocolatey, fudgy, gorgeously simple brownie. Topped with a dredged icing sugar christmas tree.

Coconutty

Packed with shredded coconut, infused with creamed coconut, topped with more coconut then baked to toasty, aromatic, gooey, fudgy, rich coco-choco perfection. Bounty but better!

Christmas pud

Our rich, fudgy BOB packed with juicy currants, sultanas, raisins, cherries, apples, orange and lemon peel, all steeped in rich madeira and baked to aromatic perfection, then topped with a snow flurry of dredged icing sugar and a gorgeously Christmassy red cherry

Chocolate orange

Freshly squeezed orange juice and zest infused BOB, with a layer of zesty orange buttercream. Topped with smooth, rich dark chocolate and a sprinkling of fresh orange zest.

Gone nutty

Packed with hazelnuts, walnuts, brazil nuts, almonds and spoonfuls of our creamy, salty, sweet and crunchy peanut butter mix. May also contain other nuts depending on our store cupboard… About as nutty as a brownie can get!

Malty teaser

Piles of chopped and crushed maltesers and a heap of horlicks (for extra malty goodness) packed into a BOB. Topped with melted white chocolate and a malteser. Chewy, fudgy, rich and crunchy…

Our much loved classic… 
Marshmallows and chunks of white chocolate packed into a classic BOB. Topped with marshmallow pieces and a white chocolate drizzle. Pillowy, nubbly, gooeyness.

Stuffed with chopped toblerone and freshly toasted flaked almonds. Topped with melted toblerone and more toasted almonds. Nubbly, almondy, rich and fudgy.

Gingerbread latte

Our creamy white chocolate blondie gone gingerbread latte.. infused with a shot of espresso then heavily laden with our homemade gingerbreadiness consisting of black treacle, golden syrup, ginger and cinnamon. Tastes even better in a blondie!

Welcome to our penultimate Christmas menu. And welcome to all our new customers and followers. You’ll find everything you need to order in this post. Please take the time to read all the blurb as you’ll find answers to most Bob’s related questions here (prices, box sizes, how to order, allergies, postage costs etc). If you have questions please message us as opposed to leaving comments; As soon as the menu is published, we tend to be inundated with order and inquiry messages and we answer these in turn before even thinking to notice comments. By then we may well be sold out. We also cannot emphasise the following enough… Buy and freeze! All our brownies and blondies freeze (and defrost beautifully). Buying early also means you’ve less chance of completely missing out as we seem to be steadily accruing quite a following – if all our customers decided to order in the next 2 weeks something would have to give (most probably sleep)!

Finally, our menu. It’s been boosted somewhat this week so there’s even more than usual to choose from. We also have 2 newbies in the form of Gone nutty and Raspberry almond ‘marzipan’ blondie. We hope you like!..

We’re keeping with the Christmassy theme for the rest of this month and will continue to try to cram as much variety in as possible (which is quite a task since our repertoire is now pretty hefty). We’d also like to reiterate that it really is a good idea to start your Christmas orders now. All our brownies and blondies freeze (and defrost) beautifully so it’s definitely worth buying now and freezing for later. We’re a bit excited about this week’s menu – we’ve decided to push the boat out a bit and reintroduce some of our gorgeous seasonal varieties as well as mix up our Salted caramel to include… pretzels (for extra crunchiness). We’re going all out to get into the spirit earlier this year! Speaking of which, it will be almost impossible to fulfil all requests for Christmas orders on the last week before Christmas (please don’t leave it last minute as there’s only so much begging we can take). With that in mind it really is worth noting that all our brownies and blondies freeze (and defrost) beautifully. So as soon as you see a menu that appeals, place your orders for gift boxes (or personal boxes for that matter), collect, then stash in the freezer feeling ever so slightly smug that you’re all sorted for your Christmas Bob’s and won’t need to resort to clandestine methods to rid the people in front of you in the last minute eeeeek queue. One final thing, we’ll be at St Leonard’s school, Blunsdon’s Christmas Fayre this coming Saturday, from 2-4pm with all of this week’s menu and more, including this year’s first outing for our Christmas pudding brownies. Marshmallows and chunks of white chocolate packed into a classic BOB. Topped with marshmallow ghosts (or something similarly spooky) and a white chocolate drizzle. Choooowy, spoooky ghostliness.

Blood and bitter (Raspberry and bitter chocolate)

A BOB with sharp, juicy raspberries and chunks of bitter, dark chocolate running through and over. Dark, intense, fudgy, sharp juiciness.

RhooOoobarb and custard

Our white chocolate blondie, heavily laden with oven roasted rhubarb (oven roasting intensifies the flavour) and custard (because you just have to have custard with roobarb!) Topped with a rhubarb and custard drizzle. Sharp, intense, sweet and creamy.

Vegan

We have a very loyal vegan brownie following! At the moment we offer vegan BOB, Mint choc, Chocolate orange, Peanut butter, Toasted almond, Walnut, Choco hazelnut and Choc cherry. All baked to order so send us a message if you’re interested.

Dairy free

We can also bake dairy free for most of our regular brownies. Our dairy free brownies contain eggs whereas our vegan brownies don’t. Send us a message for more information.

*Allergy information

All our brownies contain wheat (wheat flour), milk (butter), eggs and soya (soy lecithins in chocolate). This week we are nut free but our Hot BOB’s do contain cayenne. However, we cannot guarantee that there won’t be nut traces in any of our brownies due to the fact that they are used on the premises. Please feel free to contact us if you have any allergy questions or queries about our menu.

Large boxes (16 brownies) are £11. Medium boxes (12 brownies) are £9. Small boxes (8 brownies) are £6. Or go all out for our new Gigantabox (36 brownies) for £23. You can mix any available varieties in a box. All brownies will be ready to collect from 4pm Thursday from our North Swindon address. Otherwise we can mail all boxes (except Gigantaboxes) for £4 P&P (1st class post) to UK mainland addresses (we can add a message to your box if you like too). Either email us or message us on Facebook to order. It’s worth doing this as soon as possible as we only make a limited amount per week; When they’re gone… they’re gone! As we seem to be busier and busier each week, we’ve decided to take a little time away from the bake to give ourselves (and the oven) a bit of a rest. We will return around this time next week with our Halloween menu. Expect Spooky BOB’s, Marshmallow ghosts, Triple treats, Blood and bitter (sounds gorgeous!) as well as some other ghoulish delights.

We’ve just come back from delivering the pics to Brian (the Salvation Army chap from Friday). Thanks so much to our fantastic customer Jade Balmer for helping him contact us… Suffice to say he’s really happy with them!

Here’s this week’s menu. Since our initial play around with Oreos worked so well we thought they deserved a second outing. Also Banoffee hasn’t been around for a while. And just to confuse me further when boxing up (all those varieties starting with the same letter) we’re living dangerously and going for Blueberry blondie – this week with added white chocolate chunks…



BOB

Bob’s Original Brownie. Our plain, unadulterated, chocolatey, fudgy, gorgeously simple brownie. Topped with dredged icing sugar.

Banoffee

Mashed and chopped ripe bananas and toffee pieces packed into a BOB, then baked to gooey aromatic perfection. Topped with chunky shards of chopped toffee and a dark chocolate drizzle. Banana, toffee, choc fest.


Espresso

Dark, dense, fudgy and rich espresso laden BOB with a cocoa dusting. Picks you up!



Marshmallow and white choc chunk

Our very popular and much loved classic. Marshmallows and chunks of white chocolate packed into a classic BOB. Topped with marshmallow pieces and a white chocolate drizzle. Chewy, nubbly, gooeyness.

Oreo

Our classic BOB, complete with chopped Oreos. Fudgy, gooey, rich BOB meets crunchy, creamy Oreo!


Salted caramel

Sea salted caramel running through and over a BOB. Topped with an extra sprinkle of sea salt flakes. Chewy, gooey, sweet and salty goodness.

Toblerone and toasted almond

Stuffed with chopped toblerone and freshly toasted flaked almonds. Topped with melted toblerone and more toasted almonds. Nubbly, almondy, rich and fudgy.

Blueberry blondie

Our creamy white chocolate blondie crammed with juicy blueberries and creamily sweet white Belgian chocolate chunks. Superfood blondie!

BOB

Our white chocolate blondie, heavily laden with raspberries and white chocolate chunks. Sharp, juicy raspberries, chunks of smooth, sweet white chocolate and creamy blondiness… Heavenly.
