We’re running a little late (apologies). So without further ado, here’s this week’s menu…

BOB

Bob’s Original Brownie. Our plain, unadulterated, chocolatey, fudgy, gorgeously simple brownie. Topped with dredged icing sugar.

Banoffee

Mashed and chopped ripe bananas and toffee pieces packed into a BOB, then baked to gooey aromatic perfection. Topped with chunky shards of chopped toffee and a dark chocolate drizzle. Banana, toffee, choc fest.

Malty teaser

Piles of chopped and crushed maltesers and a heap of horlicks (for extra malty goodness) packed into a BOB. Topped with melted white chocolate and a malteser. Chewy, fudgy, rich and crunchy…

Salted caramel

Sea salted caramel running through and over a BOB. Topped with an extra sprinkle of sea salt flakes. Chewy, gooey, sweet and salty goodness.

Toasted marshmallow and white chocolate krispie

Chunks of white chocolate running through a BOB, topped with a layer of marshmallows and baked to toasty perfection. Covered with our chocolate krispie and drizzled with white chocolate. Or perhaps white chocolate flakes… we#ll decide later!

Peanut butter

Our creamy, salty, sweet and crunchy peanut butter mix, swirled through and over a BOB. Creamy, crunchy, nutty, choccy heaven.

Raspberry and white choc chunk blondie

Our white chocolate blondie, heavily laden with raspberries and white chocolate chunks. Sharp, juicy raspberries, chunks of smooth, sweet white chocolate and creamy blondiness… Heavenly.

Welcome to ‘The People’s Choice’ menu!

 

We asked what you’d like on this week’s menu. And this is what you said. If it sounds truly horrendous then you’ve only yourselves to blame!….

BOB

Bob’s Original Brownie. Our plain, unadulterated, chocolatey, fudgy, gorgeously simple brownie. Topped with dredged icing sugar.

Toasted marshmallow and white chocolate krispie

Chunks of white chocolate running through a BOB, topped with a layer of marshmallows and baked to toasty perfection. Covered with our chocolate krispie and drizzled with white chocolate. Oh me, oh my!

Salted caramel and pecan

Sea salted caramel running through and over a pecan nut studded BOB. Topped with more pecans and an extra sprinkle of sea salt flakes. Chewy, gooey, nutty, sweet and salty goodness.

Triple choc chunk

A BOB, chock full of dark, milk and white chocolate chunks. Then topped with even more chocolate chunks. Extreme chocolateyness.

Creme egg

A BOB with a ‘hidden’ gem of a mini crème egg, smothered in our own recipe crème egginess, then coated with rich Belgian chocolate.

Toblerone and toasted almond

Stuffed with chopped toblerone and freshly toasted flaked almonds. Topped with melted toblerone and more toasted almonds. Nubbly, almondy, rich and fudgy.

Rhubarb and custard

Rhubarb and custard blondie – Our white chocolate blondie, heavily laden with oven roasted rhubarb (for an intense flavour) and custard (because you just have to have custard with roobarb!) Topped with a rhubarb and custard drizzle. Sharp, intense, sweet and creamy.

After the whoosh of last week’s Valentine’s menu we have decided to go for a rather eclectic mix this week. We hope you approve!…

 

BOB

Bob’s Original Brownie. Our plain, unadulterated, chocolatey, fudgy, gorgeously simple brownie. Topped with dredged icing sugar.

 

Billionaire’s BOB

Our BOB, blinged up with a layer of smooth, creamy caramel, then topped in rich dark chocolate. Akin to a Millionaire’s shortbread but about 100 times more dense, fudgy, gooey, chocolatey!

 

Black forest

A darker, richer, cherry brandy infused BOB loaded with morello cherries and dark chocolate chips. Topped with dark chocolate flakes. Aromatic, juicy, darkness.

 

Daim bar

Chopped up daim bars and toasted almonds packed into our classic BOB. Topped with more chopped up daim bars. Smooth, crispy, crunchy, nubbly… Scarily addictive!

 

Key lime pie

A dark and dense BOB covered with a layer of our Key lime topping (zesty, creamy, caramelly), then finished with white chocolate flakes and freshly grated lime zest. Think brownie chocolate lime.

 

Marshmallow and white choc chunk

Marshmallows and chunks of white chocolate packed into a classic BOB. Topped with marshmallow pieces and a white chocolate drizzle. Chewy, nubbly, gooeyness.

 

Lemon meringue blondie

Our white chocolate blondie infused with fresh lemon juice and zest, spread with zingy lemon curd, topped with meringue and baked to gooey, creamy, zingy, crunchy perfection.

It’s Valentine’s week!

We’ve come up with a truly, madly, deeply lovely menu this week, full of delicious treats for your loved one. And all handmade with care, attention to detail and the best possible ingredients; Belgian chocolate, British butter, free range eggs, pure Madagascan vanilla bean extract, high quality cocoa… We love baking brownies!

If you’re thinking of placing an order, we’d recommend doing so fast in order to avoid brownie heartbreak. All this week’s boxes will come wrapped in heart embossed ribbon…

BOB

Raspberry and white chocolate

A BOB with sharp, juicy raspberries and chunks of creamily sweet white chocolate running through and over. Heavenly!

Marshmallow and white choc chunk

Our very popular and much loved classic. Marshmallows and chunks of white chocolate packed into a classic BOB. Topped with marshmallow pieces and a white chocolate drizzle. Chewy, nubbly, gooeyness.

Salted caramel and pecan

Sea salted caramel running through and over a pecan nut studded BOB. Topped with more pecans and an extra sprinkle of sea salt flakes. Chewy, gooey, nutty, sweet and salty goodness.

Strawberry cheesecake

Our rich, fudgy BOB topped with a layer of creamy, tangy, vanilla cheesecake, then finished with love hearts of fresh strawberry sauce. Rich denseness, creamy lightness and sweet strawberriness.

Peanut butter

We couldn’t leave this one off the menu for our peanut butter lovers! Our creamy, salty, sweet and crunchy peanut butter mix, swirled through and over a BOB. Creamy, crunchy, nutty, choccy heaven.

Malty teaser

The best ever box of chocolates to receive!.. Heaps of chopped and crushed maltesers and a veritable pile of horlicks (for extra malty goodness) packed into a BOB. Topped with a malteser half dipped in white chocolate. Chewy, fudgy, crunchy maltiness.

Cocolime

Our white chocolate blondie enriched with creamed coconut, freshly squeezed lime juice and zest. Topped with a coconut cream, white chocolate and lime frosting. Smooth, dreamy, fragrant zestiness.

Menu 1st February

This week we’re reintroducing a few varieties that don’t appear very often (one because it’s quite time consuming). But after the last couple of weeks of creme egg madness (they will be back) we thought they deserved an outing. Especially for those that have tried them before, loved them and have missed them, as well as our newbie customers who have yet to experience them. Also our blondie this week is a bit of a throwback to our Christmas menu and was specially requested.

Next week is Valentine’s week. If it’s anything like last year we will be very, very busy with orders. If you’d like a box of Bob’s for your love then it’s worth mentioning that all our brownies and blondies freeze (and defrost) beautifully. So you could buy this week, stash them away in the freezer and be safe in the knowledge that you’ve secured yourself a box to give. Or not give!

 

BOB

Choco hazelnut

Maximum nuttiness. Oven roasted hazelnuts, chopped then crammed into a BOB with chunks of dark chocolate. This one is rather amazing warmed up a little! Topped with a dark chocolate and a whole roasted hazelnut.

Mint choc

A dense and dark chocolate brownie with a layer of peppermint cream, topped with smooth, rich, dark chocolate. A fudgy brownie take on an after eight!

Salted caramel

Sea salted caramel running through and over a BOB. Topped with an extra sprinkle of sea salt flakes. Chewy, gooey, sweet and salty goodness.

Here is this week’s menu. Due to the sheer amount of people that missed the  ‘one-off’ batches of Creme egg brownies, we’ve decided to bake them again this week. We’ve also included a couple of varieties that haven’t made an appearance on the menu for a while. Because we have so many varieties, but bake around 7 or 8 per week, this means they may not reappear for a while. So, the moral of the story is… Order fast!

Menu 18th January

This week we’ve got a bit of a breakfast theme going on. There’s eggs (of the crème variety) and crispy bacon (really), maple syrup, bananas and orange juice. We also have some non breakfast inspired – although I guess brownies for breakfast is perfectly acceptable!

Also we’re really happy to announce the winner of our invent a brownie/blondie competition to celebrate attaining 1000 facebook likes. There were some amazing ideas and our shortlist turned into more of a longlist. But the one that really stood out for us was Katie Hewlett’s Mango blondie idea… A blondie with mango pieces, mango cream and white chocolate sprinkled with coconut. We’ve had a think and come up with something that hopefully does the idea justice… Well done Katie! You win a large box full of your blondies (or you can mix them with any other of this week’s varieties).

Speaking of which, here they are…

Bacon, maple syrup and banana

Crispy bacon pieces sauteed in maple syrup until sticky, then packed into a BOB with mashed ripe bananas. Makes for an addicitively salty, sweet, nubbly and aromatically rich breakfast in a brownie!

 

Chocolate orange

Freshly squeezed orange juice and zest infused BOB, with a layer of zesty orange buttercream, then topped with smooth, rich dark chocolate and a sprinkling of fresh orange zest.

Happy New Year!

**We’ve just noticed that we’ve hit the 1000 facebook like mark!!!**
A massive, massive THANK YOU all so much for the Bob’s love! It really is greatly appreciated.

In order to celebrate we’re running a competition to come up with a new Bob’s variety (brownie or blondie). The flavour idea we most like the sound of will win a large box stuffed full of their creation. Closing date for entries is midday Saturday 17th January (just under 2 weeks) and we’ll announce the winner on our Sunday 18th January menu posting. So get your thinking caps on and either email us or comment/message us through the facebook page with your ideas. We’ve listed all our current varieties below this week’s menu.
